Special Summer Events in Verbier 2008:

Verbier Festival:   From the 18th July to 3rd August 2008 the 15th annual festival offers 17 days of concerts by exceptional solo artists accompanied by the UBS Verbier Festival Orchestra. With a line up of the worlds top classical artists performing unique concert programmes, ranging from orchestral concerts to opera and chamber music.

Grand Raid Verbier-Grimentz:  On the 23rd August 2008 the gruelling 6 valley course, at 131km, is the world’s longest single leg mountain bike race, with terrain ranging from the ridiculous to the sublime. It’s a once in a lifetime event for the 2000 plus participants.


Grand Concours Hippique: From 2nd to 18th August 2008, Verbier’s majestic scenery serves as a backdrop for this event, in which some of Europe’s best horse riders compete.
